TIME4U provides after school care for students kindergarten through third grade once a week (on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5pm) at Common Ground. Children make crafts, eat snacks, develop helpful skills for life, and participate in a Bible lesson. LEARN MORE
The GetAway is an opportunity for fourth and fifth grade students to meet after school once a week (on Monday afternoons from 3:30-5pm) at Common Ground for fun, games, great food, and a place to learn more about Jesus. LEARN MORE
New Hope Ministries is a faith-based short-term transitional housing program for Adult women and their children. New Hope Ministries creates an individual growth plan with each woman, assessing needs and goals to create a plan for progress. LEARN MORE
ONE-ON-ONE is a mentoring program that pairs Christian adults with children who need the influence of an additional caring adult. The mentors spend time with their new friend, including them in some of their normal activities and planning special outings. Some mentors meet with their friend once a week during school.
LABOR OF LOVE offers practical help to elderly, disabled, single parents, and others in need. Volunteers work together providing home repair, lawn care, and car maintenance.
MomsCONNECT is a community ministry that serves to connect and disciple moms of all ages by sharing in the joys and challenges of motherhood. They host a monthly gathering with food, speakers, crafts, and connection time with other moms in the Clay Center community. All monthly events are free to attend and childcare is provided for ages 0-5 (pre-kindergarten).
