The GetAway

The Get-Away is a FREE after-school program for those in 4th, 5th and 6th grade. We provide a safe place for children to have fun and learn about Jesus. We also serve great snacks: ice cream blizzards, hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, pizza, hot cinnamon rolls, and more! Games, crafts (sometimes edible!) and free time (basketball, carpetball, foosball, ping pong, overhead 4-square, pool, etc.) are also a big part of the afternoon!

Who: All 4th, 5th and 6th grade students are welcome!

What: After-school fun with music, snacks, games, Bible lessons, activities, and more!

When: Mondays from 3:30-5:00 pm beginning August 21, 2023

Where: Common Ground Building - 709 5th Street - Clay Center, KS

• 4th and 5th graders will walk to the Common Ground building after school.
• 6th Graders can ride the bus from CCCMS to GES and walk to Common Ground.

Why: To give kids a place to have fun, create positive memories, and learn about Jesus.

Cost: Absolutely free.

Registration: Sign up by completing the online registration form below or pick up a hard copy to complete on your first day.
